Just one thing “stands out” today

Standard

Today as I was walking home from yoga class, I passed a fella with a little snack stand on the sidewalk. There wasn’t anything remarkable as I glanced in his direction – until I caught a certain movement in the lower half of his body. I looked a bit lower, and saw it: the dude had his fly undone and was stroking his, um, Bangkok Banana. On the pave!

After processing this, several yards along, I turned back to see the guy serving a customer, with the same hand.

That’s all that, ahem, stands out, today. Have a good weekend!

Becca’s Turn

Standard

Becca jotted down some notes and thoughts during our flight to Thailand (the Toronto-Tokyo leg), and she agreed to share them. Without further ado, voilà!

Settling in for the long haul

Settling in for the long haul

My plane ride to Japan!

Start: 12:25

Hour 1:
We got on the plane at 12:25 PM and it’s really boring, but fun to watch the plane take of from the window.

Hour 2:
Watching the movie “Katy Perry Part Of Me”: so far, so good.

Hour 3:
I’m still watching “Katy Perry Part Of Me”:  there is eight minutes left of the movie.

3:17… I finished the movie! Time to find another one. Hmmm?

Hour 4:
Now I’m watching “Corpse Bride” even though I’ve seen it already, it is fun to watch… If only it was still Halloween.

Hour 5:
Right now I’m just playing “Doodle Buddy”. I’m trying to do a smudged look. (It’s not working 😦 oh well…)

Hour 6:
For the past hour I’ve played a bunch of games on my iPod, they were Temple Run, Water Slide, Paper Toss and Magic Piano.

Hour 7:
Now I’m watching Big Bang Theory, (my mom really likes that show) and eating an awesome ham sandwich. The only thing I don’t like about the sandwich is that it’s cold :(.

Hour 8:
For the past few minutes I have been looking at how many minutes are left till we get to Tokyo. (We’re getting there at 3:03 PM Tokyo time, so I think that would be… 3:03 AM Orangeville time)

Hour 9:
Yay!!! Only three hours left till we get to Tokyo… 😦 I didn’t think of that… Grrrr. ( I forgot that we still had to go to Thailand.)

Hour 10:
I had a nap… TWO hours left till Tokyo!!!

Hour 11:
I can’t believe this, I slept!!! (And forgot to write this.)

Hour 12:
Ok, so now it’s technically ” midnight” in Orangeville… So I’m kinda really tired.

Hour… Wait, this last one’s like, a HALF AN HOUR!!! Personally I think that the flight went by like that (snap your fingers)! I think that’s a good thing?

What about you? Have you been on a plane for a REALLY, REALLY long time???
